Melissa's Story
I did the college thing thru 1995. Diagnosed with MS 1996 and in 2006 it progressed to relapsing-remitting MS. Married September 12 1997. My husband was a drummer/singer in many traveling bands and now he is a computer programmer. I am a stay home mom. We moved to Irving Texas for a year after we married. recious the cat and Butterscotch is the dog. My two younger boys as well as my husband are legally blind with Anaridia. Josh has been learning braille and loving it. He prefers to use his eyes to read but to learn another language is wonderful! Every day is a challenge and we go on. So needless to say I am the "mom taxi driver"..... as long as my body and shots keep working. :-) The things we are thrown in life to help us grow stronger as individuals we just can't explain.
