Melissa Black:  

g in the medical field in 1988 as a file clerk for a surgery clinic in Hot Springs. I worked there until 1991 and received training as a medical transcriptionist while working for them. Six months after leaving there, I began working as a medical transcriptionist at St. Joseph's. I worked there until 1995. From 1995 until recently, I worked from a room in my home doing medical and legal transcription, editing, consulting, and other clerical duties as well as some private investigation work. In February of 2004, my fibromyalgia and other health problems became too great and I stopped working. I am now a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling my oldest son and raising my two boys.
