Wow! Who would have thought this would be how my life would go after high school! I am so happy!
I have been married since 2001 to my high school sweetheart. Matt and I have three beautiful kiddos, Annabelle, Gabriel and Danielle. I never knew I'd still be in Ramona! But at this point in my life, I'm glad I'm so close to family and friends! I feel I have changed a lot since I graduated. Parenthood makes you a different person. But I like myself better now than ever before. Except that I have stopped singing as much. I had hoped that I would still be involved in some kind of music by now. But I know that when my babies get older I will be FAMOUS!! Or at least have made a Christmas CD! I miss you all. Hope to hear from you.
School
I really miss school. Not that I learned too much. But I did see my friends a whole lot more. I felt connected and informed about everything. I do stay in touch with a few close people, but I wish I could see more of them. My favorite time in school was choir and play productions. I love being on stage, and the center of attention. But I don't have that anymore either. Oh well, I look back with fond memories. Of too many boyfriends, too hard of work, but not enough time. I miss you all.
College
College? Hah! I guess you could say I am still a freshman! I went for a semester and a half, and pretty much failed out of it! I w...Expand for more
as too caught up in work and my fiance to pay enough attention at the time. I dropped out of the second semester when I found out I was expecting. . . I was going to take ANY excuse to escape! I would like to go back and try for some kind of degree, just not now!
Workplace
I began working at Pizza Hut when I was a sophmore in High School. I enjoyed it, because it was fun work and all of my sisters had worked there previously! I stayed there for 4 years and worked my way up the ladder to management. That got old very quickly. I'm a follower, not a leader. So telling people what to do wasn't working for me. I applied at Bank of America and got the job. I liked it there, except that I didn't make the tips I used to and I have to stand up all day. But I love customer service, so that's good. You really need good customer realtions when it comes to dealing with peoples money! I stayed working at the bank when I got hired to work as an apartment manager here in Ramona. I went back to B of A for a bit. Now I'm employed at GEICO in Poway and totally loving it!
Military
Well, I guess you can consider that I was in the Marines. My husband, Matt, was in the USMC for about 7 years. I was volunteered for the Key Volunteer Network (KVN) and what we do is keep the families informed while their loved ones are deployed. I enjoyed this very much, especially since I had the news sooner than everyone else!
