Taught preschool at La Petite Academy in Parker, Co. Hostessed & waited tables in down town Greeley. CSR then claims rep w/State Farm Auto Ins. in Denver. Married Ed Tello "ET", United Pilot 1991. Moved to Discovery Bay, Calif, near San Francisco. Taught piano & started painting murals. Two boys; Erick-1992, Austin-1995. Attended our 10t.h reunion wonderfully lead by Kathy Pink. Thank you Kathy. Moved to Ponce,Puerto Rico (husband's hometown) on "learning adventure" in 1999. Still trying to learn spanish. Homeschooled boys after trying 3 different schools and traveled alot in our rebuilt 1947 Republic Seabee amphib airplane (mostly stateside). Organized our 20th reunion only with the determined help from over 32 of our classmates; particularly June Valora, Bernice & Tony Rupp, Carrie Graham, Bob Murphy, Bob Martin, Jeff Lee, Dan Weisbeck, Lynn Chase & our spokesmen Lonnie Marshall & Mike Scholl. Duane Wegher, Bob Murphy & Jeff Lee are the Main Men for this years 25th if I recall. We moved near Mooresville, NC "race city USA" (Nascar) July 2004 into a 1937 small bungalow. rch Christmas musical in 2006. Not traveling as much because of school and pay cuts. But there is a season for everything in God's good plans. Trying to get organized and motivated to chase after more painting jobs and piano students. Built and moved into our "dream home" in the Long Island Airpark, NC Dec, 2010 on Lake Norman.Erick graduated and took this year off to travel, volunteer and sleep, among other things, before attending Virginia Tech Fall 2011. Austin's enjoying being in a great Jr ROTC program at school. Lessons to be learned at every stage. I believe my unstructured, undisciplined ways have made it easier to be a pilot's wife and enjoy being spontaneous and artistic when opportiunities or needs arise. BUT how many more have been lost, missed or wasted. Being over 40, kids growing too fast, elections, war, economy, history books being rewritten to lie, and foundational rights being chipped away for starters are all pretty heavy. BUT we are still SOOO blessed to be Americans and I guess it's time to pray and figure out what our resposibliity/duty is help it heal, starting with being neighborly and also reconnecting with friends and family. How exciting it was to see so many "wildcats" at the reunion 8yrs ago. What a blessing it was to work with a handfull of dear people pulling it together! Thank you and God's abundant blessings to you!!! Come visit!
