Melissa's Story
Life
My family consists of my son and our mini-zoo of 5 very different pets (3 cats, a Border Collie and a Cockatiel). We're all as happy as we can be, considering being stuck in hell (a/k/a the Midwest). The greatest mission I ever faced was getting the f* out of here! I've gotten a great job with the City of Alton and have made some great friends there. We are happily members of Immaculate Conception (St Mary's) Church and are making great friends there, too. Someday I'd like to move away from here again - ...Expand for more
California is awesome, Texas would be great (extreme Roller Derby action there) and better still would be Seattle (I think I can handle the rain, beats snow and ice!). The main focus is getting my son through private school and when he graduates, COLLEGE (my pockets already hurt with St Mary's, next is Marquette and I want to faint at the thought of college expenses). But by then, I hope I'm in a good enough place to get out of here! Hope everyone is where they want to be, doing what they want to do. Take care!
