Melissa's Story
Life
Well, where shall I begin? So much has happened since I graduated from Kearsley. Being stubborn, I went against the advice of many and got a jump start on college classes at Mott Community College the summer after graduation. t a place of my own near Canton, MI. As of late I have lost confidence in the choices I have made for school. I am nearing the completion of my degree, but I am not sure if I have taken the right path. I have always been interested in dance so I am looking for a part-time job working as a dance instructor for children. I think this will work well with the full-time job I have already. Another interest that still burns brightly is American Sign Language. Being able to practice my sign language with deaf people from the community (mainly the deaf people I see at work) is really rewarding. But, the interactions do not come quick enough. This has encouraged me to research different ASL programs in the area. The newest idea that came to mind is that I might as well become a certified interpretor, this would help me in any line of work. I guess that is about it... *phew*
