Melody's Story
Life
I attended Alderson Broaddus College, in Philippi, WV in 1970, where I met my husband, Chris Gaidrich. We then attended WVU in Morgantown, where I obtained a Law degree in 1981. We moved to Charles Town, WV, in 1981, where I was an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for 3 1/2 years, then went into private practice until 1979. after 16 years in Berkeley County, West Virginia, and we have moved to Augusta County, Virginia, where Chris took over the operations management of 2 plants for Universal Forest Products, Inc. I am hoping to stay semi-retired for quite a few years, and am throughly enjoying my current employment as a part-time employee of the Thomas Jefferson Foundation in Charlottesville, Va. I work in the Education department there, leading field trips for school children. It's the best part of teaching!
