Melvin's Story
Life
Still living in Vermont. Every Winter I asked my self-Why the hell am still here?. Then after returning from a family visit in NY City, I appreciate the Vermont fresh air.
Bumed around for a bit after High School. Did a short sting at UVM, then bumed some more. Really hated it the second time around and went to Champlain College. Gratuated in 2K with an AS in PC Networking . Took a job at IBM as a Process Tech/ Engineering Tech.

ow microprocessors work. I started at IBM as a temp, then worked as a tool operator and upon graduation from Champlain College ( Associates in PC Networking) move up to being a Tech.
I worked at the now bankrupt Ames for 5 years, then Champion Jog Bra, Burton Snow Board, and a variety of temp jobs. My last one before IBM was a turning point. Work at McNeill Power Plant unloading wood chips off a train. I passoinately hated that job. It was outside, up on a rise and it was cold. Had to wear dity old jeans to work because there was no point of wearing clean ones. I left that, went to IBM and back to School.
