Melvin "Bud"'s Story
I am the Vice District Governor of Lions for District 24E. In my role, I am organizing a Mission of Mercy (MOM) for Giles County VA. This effort will provide (once a year) free dental and eventually medical care for people who need this service.
In addition, the Lions of District 24 E and - hopefully - West Virginia will work together to match a significant fund to help equip our new local hospital.
In june, I become the District Governor of Lions for District 24E.
We recently took a trip to visit the SE and SW areas of the USA. We had great fun but missed being away from home at Christmas.
Mrs. Bennett was my favorite teacher at OHS and Mrs. Casey was at CCHS. They had significant impacts on my successes in my life and career. It would be great to see them again.
I guess the fact that I would defy the Coach Adams and live to tell about it. As my PE Class knows, he busted three pattles on my bottom.

t a school picture would be more than enough. When I was in sixth grade I gave her a big Valetine and 50 years later I mailed her a similar card.
I hope old friends remember me as a person they could count on and one who cared for them.
To be truly happy, I would be where I am but in a more giving position and with my wife of almost 42 years.
When we lived at Bynum, I had a low esteem and did not feel that I would accomplish much. However, I have held high government positions in the State of Florida and in the US Treasury Department.
The one do-over would be to have stayed in Tallahassee and become a Professor at FSU. I have had a great time but I should have applied my abilities in a career involving higher education.
While I was in college, I drove a cab like many graduate students used to do to make ends meet. There were many stories to be told from this experience.
As a Federal Agent, I was required to move to ensure the safety of my family. Working high profile cases, I was thrown into some situations that it was better tom move to places unknow.
