Mercedes's Story
Just a little bit about me. I do have a facebook account and if you know me- send me your email and I will add you as a friend. My friend Sue from Lyndon State got me writing on classmates. I would love to get in contact with all my friends from the past. I do not live up North, I moved to Florida about 18 years ago to raise my children. I live in Flagler County- we are number 9 in the nation for unemployment, however I am a lucky one, I do have a job, I am an ESE teacher in a middle school. I really like the school. I work with great people and I love my job. Sometimes the kids wear me out, but I do feel it is my calling to work with kids.
I moved to Florida after a very bad marriage it was cheaper to live in Florida than Connecticut. I bought a house in Palm Coast and raised my three children. My son is 28 and teaches in the same county as me. My middle daughter Ch...Expand for more
erie works at Publix in the deli. My youngest Amy is at the University of Florida and wants to be an accountant. Palm Coast is a growing city on the ocean. It lies between Daytona Beach and St. Augustine. I love St. Augustine, most likely the Spanish in me. I really just love life and I thank God everyday I have another day to live. My family is important to me, I have no grandchildren, I am way to young. However, I have three dogs because of my kids. I never could say no. But I do love animals so it really does not bother me. However, I am never home so I do feel bad for my dogs. I love to travel and go places. I do like Disney, Universal, walking on nature paths, water sports, roller blading, I really keep busy.
