Mercedes's Story
It seems that I have been going to school since I left school! I teach ESL at Caribbean Elementary in Miami, Florida, and I just completed my Specialist Degree in Reading from the University of Miami. I also have two Master's (one in PE and the other one in TESOL) from FIU. That should do it for now--unless they offer a FREE Doctorate somewhere!

I recently bought property in Everglade City--yes in the swamp--and plan to retire there in five years--I can't believe I have been teaching almost 30 years! We have an RV set up in a quaint fishing community (aka trailer park) and own a boat--so if any of you old friends are going to be in the Naples area at all, email me and we'll take you out boating and fishing--my husband will be in charge of the fishing and I will do the Margaritas!
