Merle's Story
I'm curious to find out who has enough guts to read this whole thing...
Not many would recognize me as I have changed quite a bit from the High School days. I wasn't popular, didn't have the popular girl friend, stayed out of trouble (most of the time) and didn't have the baddest car. Come to think of it... I still don't. None of that mattered then and to this day. What really does matter, to me anyway, is to be a good man and role model for anybody that could use a better one. Teach by example, all the younger ones that come into your life, what chivalry, gallantry, honesty, and sincerity mean by expressing them in front of the young and impressionable so they can at least see what it looks like. There really isn't anything wrong with being a Knight in Shining Armor... with maybe just a little tarnish.
Dads, show your daughters how a man treats a woman he loves because she will marry an extension of YOU good, or bad, because that is what she learned as home values. Show your sons how to treat a woman with honesty, respect and sincerity so he will be the man another father's daughter will marry and whom that father will be proud to share his daughter with. Too many men are teaching their children how to be ignorant of chivalry...Expand for more
or galantry, yes, even sincerity and their wives let them because that is how they learned it is to be. It's time for everyone to realise that many parents are raising their kids with inadequate values taught by parents that don't realise what all their kids are learning from them. Ever wonder what is going wrong with this country? Can we begin with a lack of sincerity?
Okay, enough, I'm sorry about that. I tend to express my passions sometimes.
Oh yeah... ME!
The moment I saw Lee Ann Stapleton, October 1971 at McLane, I fell "Head over Heals" in love and have been ever since. She is the most charming, sweet, generous, beautiful, sexiest, and caring woman I could ever dream of, and often do! *He winks with a sly grin...* I am constantly amazed by her and proud to have her be my wife and best friend.
I've been busy as a Corporate Litigator, a Paramedic, a Deputy Sheriff, and a few other things but now I restore antiques including but not limited to; Silver, Victorian Parlor lamps, and now antique clocks, too! Lee Ann and I had to set 44 clocks ahead the other day for daylight savings. She said we had enough... go figure!
I'll be damned! You read it all. I'm impressed. ~ Thank you for taking the time, seriously, thank you.
