Micaela's Story
I moved out of KC and into Illinois almost 10 years ago...first to Carbondale, then to the suburbs of Chicago. I've been here since November 1999. I'm married and have 2 kids, a son who is 8 and in second grade and a daughter who is 6 and in kindergarten. They're amazing little people and the lights of our lives.

taught both in Kansas City and here in Illinois until my daughter was born. I have loved being at home with the kids and have been very active in the PTC and volunteering at the kids' school, although now I am subbing so I'm getting paid to work at their school! We get over to KC 1-2 times a year to see my mom and sister, but I never seem to run into anyone from GHS. Hope everyone is doing well!
