he Riverside Art Museum. One facet of my work was to rewrite exhibit essays and create press releases, monthly newsletters, and marketing text for the website. Having no formal education in art history or marketing, I relied on my own research and perseverance, and I asked many questions. It was this job and the influence of people I worked with that were instrumental in founding a new purpose in my commitment to education and I returned to Riverside City College in 2010.
Environmental and social sciences are my chosen areas of interest. These two fields have allowed me to connect, not only with my values, but also with my life experiences, thus allowing me to still live creatively, stay connected to community, and participate in bettering the mental wellbeing of people and myself. The confidence I have gained has not only made me a leader but has well prepared me for my chosen fields. Therefore, I attained a distinct motivation to explore of the intersectionality of both hard and soft sciencesâa distinction necessary for success in a continuously changing world.".
