Michael's Story
Life
Wow! Where do I start?! Not the same stoner kid that I was in High School. Afer graduation I did 4 years Navy, (NEVER AGAIN) got out and moved to Houston-By-God-Texas. Been here ever since. I am still single, never married, no kids, and loving it! I dodged the marriage bullet twice thank God! I have a successful carreer as a Contract services Manager for a rapidly growing and well established company. I am also heavily involved in the music industry as a local entertainer with a band, playing guitar and singing (of all things) country music. Major change from the 80's rocker hair band days! I sing everything from Garth Brooks to George Strait! We also do a lot of southern rock tunes, stuff from Skynard, Clapton, and ZZ Top, etc... I also own a small recording studio that I use for everything from recording demos, to video production to grafix work. Needless to say, I am quite busy all of the time, hence the "Still single" aspect of my life, (no time for dating these day...Expand for more
s.) My goal is to get this studio off the ground with enough business to quite my other job and stay in the music industry full time. I am also very actively involved in a Christian Fellowship down here that I think was the pivot point in my life. God's always been there and I am so thankful that He has directed my steps down the path that I am currently on. I'm not one of those hardcore Jesus Freaks, but I know in my heart of hearts, that I would not be here today if He hadn't intervined. What else... I have a dog, she is like a child to me. I live in a nice house in a nice area of town, and like most Texans, I drive a truck. I gave up motorcycles after I had a crash that nearly killed me. I have a truely wonderful circle of friends that are the best, and I am "Uncle Mikey" to all of their kids. All in all, I would have to say that my life so far has exceeded my expectations (or anyone elses for that matter.) Yup...things sure have changed over the years...
