Michael's Story
Life
My name is Mike Aia. Married to Bette Silva of this class, since 1954.We have one son, Steven. After graduation from Northeastern University and my miltary service in the Army Signal Corps, I spent my entire career at GT&E (as materials scientist) and IBM (in many different assignments). We have been residents of New York since 1967 but still think of the Boston area as "home". Cape Cod is still our favorite vacation spot.
I retired from IBM in 1993. We don't travel a lot and find plenty of things to do around the house.
Our 50th high school reunion was held on Sunday, July 8, 2001 from 4:00-10:00 PM at the Logan Holiday Inn on McClellan Hwy.
Virginia Foster-DiMambro and her dedicated committee did an outstanding job planning & managing the event.

d our 50th wedding anniversary at a local bistro. It was a surprise party and gala event, arranged by our son, that allowed us to spend a memorable evening with loved ones, mostly from Massachusetts.
We hope to see you at the annual EBHS Senior Reunions. The 60 yeat anniversary reunion of the Class of 1951 witl be held jointly with other senior alumni at the Danversport Yacht Club on Sept. 13, 2011. Virginia Dimambro and Rita Walsh are once again active on the senior reunion committee, which is now coordinated by Al Repucci of the Class of 1949.
Bette and I celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary in December of 2014. We are still living (since 1967) in Stormville, NY, a hamlet in the mid-Hudson River area of Dutchess County.and looking forward to another reunion of the Class of 1951 during 2015.
