Michael Alfred:  

Born & Raised in the S.F Bay Area I am Now living in Southern California, just south of Santa Barbara off the 101. Its a great area about 60 miles north of L.A., on the coast. After leaving Lynbrook H.S. I went on to collage until I finished my formal education with my masters degree (MBA). I then worked for an Italian Car Manufacturer, Alfa Romeo, for a long time (loved that job !) until they left the country. I currently work for General Motors Corporation's ACDelco parts division - not as much fun as Alfa Romeo, but what is. I have done some TV commercials for fun & profit. Did a video Disc for the Corvette featuring my high speed driving skills aquired from my extensive racing experience in SCCA racing for 35 + years called "Performace Driving The Corvette at Laguna Seca Raceway" that had national distribution just for fun & profit. I recently also have been doing a TV show for the "SPEED" channel recently which was both a lot of work & a lot of fun. I was a technical consultant. The TV Show's name was "SET-UP". This is the second season for us, & ratings have been good. Maybe a season 3 for 2009 ? I'll just have to wait and see. I can tell you from experience that I am not quiting my day job for it, thats for sure, just take the good times as they come. For fun & love of the ocean I enjoy boating off the California coast in my 46 foot boat, A full displacement Diesel Trawler design, espically in the Channel Islands National Park - I love doing island exploring which is always fun. I also am a certified scuba diver, but only like diving in warm waters. I am a FAA licensed private pilot with my instrament raiting & enjoy flying all over the western USA in my ...Expand for more
