Life A journalism grad from GSU in 1976, I worked for the Marietta Daily Journal/Neighbor Newspapers for two years before going to work in the marketing department for Lake Lanier Islands. I was recruited to move to Houston, Texas in 1979, went to work for Six Flags AstroWorld and have been in travel and tourism marketing ever since. I have been lucky enough to work for Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera (of Yogi and Scooby fame), the largest waterpark in southeast Texas, and currently coordinate the tourism, marketing and festival program for the City of Tomball, Texas - population 10,000 - just northwest of Houston.
