Michael's Story
After high school I went off to Franklin College in Franklin, IN. I loved the school, but ended up meeting my wife and changed my plans. Natalie (Rush - Floyd Central '85) and I were married in 1985 and welcomed our first daughter in 1986. (She's now 22 and getting married herself - argh!) In 1987 we moved to Fort Myers, FL where I landed a job in radio. Over six+ years I moved up until I was the Chief Operator of the facility and Asst. Station Manager. I left that job in 1993 and I moved back to NA to put down some roots and start my own production company, which today is known as Audiacom. In 1994 we began production on a syndicated radio program called Soul2Soul. Over the years the show has expanded to be heard on more than 781 stations in 39 countries around the world. It has allowed me the chance to interview hundreds of artists from all walks of life like Kathy Lee Gifford, Billy Ray Cy...Expand for more
rus, Amy Grant, Switchfoot, John Tesh, Randy Travis, and lots of other interesting people. Natalie and I were thrilled when our second daughter Ashton was born in '97. We have been blessed over the years to enjoy a fair amount of success with the business. We have won several national awards for video and audio production including two Tellys for two national television programs that we created and produced. This year we were awarded the One Southern Indiana Business of the Year award. This year Natalie and I are celebrating 23 years of marriage. It's hard to believe that time has flown by so fast.
Unusual Fact: If you have ever called to order a pizza from Papa John's in the past ten years, you have probably heard from me. I do the voice work for the on hold message for Papa John's. Would you like a side of breadsticks with that? :-)
