Mikel's Story
Life
After graduating from High School, I moved to Seattle, went to college for a few years, and then became a church music director. I spent the next 20 years as a church musician, performing and recording artist, private piano teacher, and recording studio owner/engineer. (I also spent three very interesting years in New Orleans). In 1998, I moved to Id...Expand for more
aho and eventually went back to school. I recently graduated from Boise State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Music in Composition. I now work as a composer, writing music mostly for local high school bands and choirs, and also do the occasional film score. Thirty-one of my works are published by Lighthouse Music Publications in Ontario, Canada.
