Michael's Story

Life Hi everyone! Hers's what accomplished, in a nutshell... After graduation I attended Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania majoring in Criminal Justice. I then transferred to The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio where I made my home after college and have remained since 1992. I married a beautiful homecoming queen from Columbus that I met in college and we now have three children, Morgan 14, Madison 12 and Michael 10. I have an amazing family and feel like I'm the luckiest man alive. I live just outside of Columbus and am employed as Chief of Police for a suburban department here. I worked my way up through the ranks, and became Chief in July of 2003, when my Chief retired. I am very proud of my officers and we have accomplished an immense amount in the last year. last nine years. I collect and restore musclecars and currently own three restored cars, including a 1969 Buick just like the one I had in high school. I visit Herndon all the time as my Mom still lives and works in town (she's in her 25th year with the Town of Herndon...still working at the community center!). I have been back to visit each over the years and wow, those halls sure seem smaller than I remember them! It's amazing what you remember when you walk into those buildings. I've also attended Columbus State where I was enrolled in the Ohio Peace Officer's Training Academy and Graduated from Eastland Police Academy in Columbus, Ohio as well. Military
