Michael's Story
Life
After school went to New York to dance on off- Broadway but football injury stopped that Came home and joined Navy, ended up on a carrier CVA 61 and spent 1 1/2 yrs on ship, part of which was in Vietnam. Got out in1967 ended up in the Haight-Ashbury playing music managing several night clubs. Another story another time. Married had daughter then came back to Kentucky due to death threat from Unforgiven Sinners motorcycle gang. Then I fast forward to........
Daughter Stephanie, 45, lives in California with Mother and works for the state. Two boys - Hunter 21 and Jordan 19. Hunter went to Male and was selected and played varsity, JV & freshman Soccer. He also played 2 yrs of soccer at Butler as a 7th & 8th grader. He started both years. Played for SIU Select Soccer for 6 yrs - and played for Mockingbird Valley Soccer fo...Expand for more
r 3 yrs and has made the US Olympic Development Soccer Pool for KY for 5 yrs. Honor student. Jordan went to Butler but graduated from Valley with honors. Played in the orchestra. Jordan plays soccer, baseball and basketball for various church and rec leagues. He is like me, in that he is not much of a student at this stage. Like me fun is #1. I am active in Church as a teacher, Choir member, Rec committee, Coaching & playing softball, coaching soccer, basketball in various age groups at church. I have also coached several Select Soccer traveling squad at SIU. I am a "D" licensed coach and have coached high school. I am also the 1992 Boys Soccer Olympic Development Pool Administrator for the state of Ky. I am now retired have a part time photography business. As of June 10 2013 I have taking treatments for prostate cancer.
