Michael's Story

Life Hey there. I now live in New Braunfels, TX with my wife Jennifer, my daughter Shaynah (13), my son Bryce (11) & my baby girl Aliyah (6). New Braunfels is a very busy town. It is a big tourist attraction. If you have never heard of New Braunfels before you may have heard of it now because of all the flooding that happened in South Central Texas. I got laid off from my computer job back in June 2001 and was off work until March 2002 when I started working for LensCrafters. I no longer work for LensCrafters, I was let go in 2004. From there I started my own business selling blinds. I did everything from marketing to installation. Then fuel started getting expensive and I could not keep going, especially with no health insurance. d there as we speak. September will be my 3rd year there. Are you wondering what I do there? Well, I sell RV's. Not face to face but I distribute the internet leads to the Sales team. It is a pretty hard market to be in right now, but I think it will slowly bounce back. People are still buying them. (But I do have my A+ certification and I am hoping to eventually get a Cisco certification and find a job in the computer industry). So, I guess I am kinda in the computer industry. Not what I expected to be doing, but I really like what I am doing now and I hope to be here a long time. Well, if you are on this site reading this bio go ahead and send me an email.
