Michael's Story
Life
After leaving Regis in 1948, I finished high school at Power Memorial. Still have nice thoughts about Mr O'Keefe, Richie Hughes, Kennedy, etc. Knocked around in various jobs until drafted in Feb 1953. Spent two years at Fort Dix. Used GI Bill to attend St. John's in 1955.
Switched to Baruch School CCNY in 1956. Married and divorced with one child by this time. Worked days, went to school at night.Graduated CCNY in 1963, CPA in 1967,CFP in 1994.
Started working for IBM in 1968. Retired in 1993. Married,7 children in a blended family. Currently mostly retired on Cape Cod.I do a little tax and financial work. Spend most of my time playing golf, gardening, traveling, and volunteering on community projects

g those hectic years. Wonder what happened to Ed Clark, Mike Marshall, Joe Turner, from the Power Memorial years? I located Mike Pendergast in Monroe, NY recently. Also wonder where Bill Soter and Joe Brodsky of Baruch School fame are hiding these days.
It is now 2015 and life on Cape Cod is still good! We are spending the winters in Florida now after several miserable days here without light and heat. I'm active in the local Lions Club and teach legally blind people how to get by on a computer several hours a week at the local library.
I had the pleasure of spending some time with Tom Hartney of our Incarnation and Power Memorial days. Tom passed several years ago. I miss his quick wit.
I still get to golf several times a week,
abet cart riding.
