School:
School Memories: 1964-1976, while living in Taylor, 1975-1976, went to see a new JR. High School being built; J. Eger Hoover JR. High. What I remember there was being in my first fight, when someone picked me up from behind and threw me ontop of a school bus. 1976 moved to Canton and went to Pioneer Middle School for only 3 months, stayed to myself, no friends.
Between 1977-1980, Salem High School, being nick name Speedy Gonzales, due to that I speed walked between Salem and Canton High for classes, and Phase III (3) for gym classes.

ly intended for 1st Class and above. Ended tour stayed on Sasebo except for the one month training at NATIC LAKEHURST N.J. for Security Guard job; then proceeded to first Naval Fuel Depot (NFD) for a year, then CFAS Military Police for a year, then Supply Depot/Fuel Farm (NSY) for a year.
Ended tour headed to Long Beach, CA. USS Antietam, worked in First Division as Training Petty Officer.
Ended tour headed to Coronado, near San Diego CA. to BMU-1 as Hazardous Waste Manager and Asst. Safety Officer, and made section leader for end of tour of 1998.
Then headed to USS Chancellorsville, was located in San Diego but was given a new homeport; Yokosuka Japan, more north than Sasebo, near Tokoyo. Worked as Training P.O. and Hazardous Waste Manager there, until an unfortunate incident.
Spend 3 months in the Brig, then was assigned to DockMaster, directing ships in and out of berthing spaces, until end of tour than to finish off 20 years. Went to Banger WA. to sign my papers for getting out of the Navy. Was place on Fleet Reserve Status until 2011.
On the ships, visited alot of ports: Philipeans, Korea, Thialand (Pattaya and Phuket), Hong Kong, Singapore, Persian Gulf Area, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nagasaki JP., Brunei, Australia. I did Cross the Equator at least 4 times, one of my ships said I did not do the Ceremony that involves on being consider a Shell Back, and kept me at a Wog status, water under the bridge though.
I did have great times, and bad. But the good out weighs the bad. Also, I paid for a Cruise Book that my last ships provided on our port visits, and again same ship did not provide me with one, even though I paid for it. Again, water under the bridge.
