Life
Married to Sandra K.(Story), also EHS grad., on 11/30/68 in DSM (dated for 3+ yrs.).
Grad. from LeTourneau Univ., Longview, TX in Aug. 68 w/ BS in Electrical Technology.
Daughter - Julie born 5/24/70, grad. from Drake Univ., DSM - 5/91, w/ BS in Acctg. Married Paul Hogan in Sept. 09 at a Bed & Breakfast Inn in Middlebury, VT. Wedding was GREAT ! They live in South Windsor, CT.
Son - Brian born 3/30/72, grad. from Manchester Community College in Jun. 92, married Liz 5/27/07, daughter Megan and son Jake(7/23/08). They also live in South Windsor, CT.
Son - David born 12/22/76, married Melissa 10/26/01, gave us our first granddaugher, Alexandra, born on my birthday anniversary(6/6/04). They live in Colchester, CT (~40 miles).
We have lived in: Des Moines, and Red Oak, IA; St. Robert, MO; Rogers, AR; Jackson, and Oak Ridge,
NJ; and now South Windsor, CT.
Began work after grad. college in '68 with Union Carbide Corp.(UCC), at Red Oak,IA which made Eveready Batteries.
Went into Army 5th Combat Engrs. (69-71), worked in line cos. and in Hdqrts. Co., w/ Col. Colin Powell, for several months.
Returned to work with UCC at a brand new Rogers,AR Glad bag plt. Trans. w/ UCC to help build a new Prestone antifreeze plt. in Freehold,NJ.

After graduating from EAST High in DSM 6/63, worked for 1 yr. at Lennox Ind., DSM. Attended Grace College, Winona Lake, IN for freshman yr. Trans. to LeTourneau College (now Univ.), Longview, TX, Worked summers in DSM at Economy Forms Corp. and graduated w/ BS in Electrical Engr'g/Technology 9/68. Worked for college/city of Longview Ambulance Service, driver and crew chief for 5 semesters, also McLendon Radio Services for 2 semesters. Recruited back at LeTourneau U. 2x's after grad. while working for Union Carbide Corp. Have worked with 3 other LeT grads. during career. Attended in '03 my 40 yr. EAST high school reunion and it was great !
