Michael's Story
My dad was Pastor Stan Brown from Shasta Community Church, who was also involved at NVCS.I created this account to search for family in Burbank, CA. I did not graduate from North Valley. I rebelled and left home at 15 years old. My sister, Debbie, did graduate, and my little brother Mark attended for some time. I went to North Valley only for two years, I think I took off in early 1982. I was the skinny kid with thick glasses that got in trouble alot. You know what they say about preacher's kids...!

Some people here have recently asked me to share my story... A picture is worth a thousand words, they say, so I will post a picture of myself sometime soon and let you draw your own conclusions.
I have 3 beautiful kids, two girls, and a boy, from my marriage. I have committed my life to being the kind of Dad they will be proud of, as best I'm able. I am a union steel framer, and certified solar installer. I also am volunteer staff at a sober living environment for men in San Jose, because it keeps me clean and focused.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
