Michael's Story
Life
Spent 6 years on active duty, USN. 14 more years in the reserves. Received a BSE in '77, an EE in '80 and a PhD in 2005. Worked at UCLA for 25 years, and retired. Retired from the Navy Reserves as well and have moved back to the same house I grew up in here in Fremont with my beautiful wife, Kelly and our Amazon Parrot, Rudy. year old son in the Army. He's about 6-10 and close to 300 pounds (and not fat, just BIG-REAL BIG!). I'm very proud of him. I hope he gets a commission and becomes an officer like I did. I spend my time fixing up this ancient house and gardening. Fishing is my true calling, but the tuna season is very short here, so I must get by on a miniscule fix of a couple trips a year. Things are good, we're comfortable and happy. What else do we need?
