Michael's Story
Not too sure who has signed the guest book. It's hard to believe that EYCI was over 50+ years ago. Who ever thought we would *gasp* grow old? When I return to the old EY neighbourhoods (seldom) it's like travelling through a time warp. A lot has changed but much hasn't. EYCI was a unique experience I didn't appreciate until much later. It's curious how we all managed to survive without cell phones, computers, PDA's etc. Toronto is longer Toronto the good. I wish I'd studied le francais a little more diligen...Expand for more
tly. La belle France (La Cote d"Azur) was often a destination. I managed to communiicate with our landlady who spoke no English as well as her son who kindly took us on some local excursions in the Menton area (near Monaco, Nice, Villefranche etc.). Covid certainly put the kibosh on our travel plans. I get become anxious reading the local obituary notices. Thanks to everyone who's signed.
