Michael's Story

Life After BHS; Immediately following graduation in '72, I enrolled at CSM which was about the extent of my uneventful post BHS academic career, although I was rewarded with an AA in '75 for my lack of effort. After several yrs of futility working and going to school part-time, I began working full-time at Dalmo Victor Operations in Belmont. There, I worked in manufacturing with '72 classmates Debbie Bosworth and Eric Schipper.                               It was during this time that I married for the first (and not the last) time on All Saint's Day in 1980. A day which will forever live in infamy.  By the time Textron sold their Dalmo Division to Singer in '86, my marriage had already dissolved so I decided ...Expand for more
to relocate to TN and join my parents in a life of hillbilly purgatory. After a year and half of extreme culture shock there, I jumped on the government gravy train to Atlanta to go to work for the IRS. It was here that I met and married my current wife, Ruby Kay in '90. We're going on 20 years now, so I guess it's safe to say we're solid, with no kids but two POMS which will serve the purpose. Pssst,,, don't tell the idiots I worked for.                      Speaking of which, I endured 21 years of the most mindless, tedious nonsense imaginable. In 2008 my sentence was reduced to time served. Actually I retired (disability).                           Despite my brain dead condition, I hope to find something creative that I enjoy to do at home. Maybe with Mr Pat's guidance, I could make pencil holders once again.
