Michael's Story
Life
After graduation from River Ridge High, I started college at the University of Florida majoring in music compositon and pre-med. After freshman year I decided that medicine was not for me so I decided to continue with the music degree and drop the pre-med track. 1997 I attended the music conseravatory in Rome, Italy to study music composition and language. I graduated from the University of Florida in December of 1999 with a bachelors of music in music composition. I started my masters degree at the University of Florida but was offered a music directors job at Global Records in Orlando, Florida. So...I stoped my masters degree and took the job.

At Global records I was responsible for hiring/rehearsing musicians and producing tracks for their signed artists. After touring with Global records for a short time I was offered a job at JBP entertainment Group in Orlando as a producer/music director/composer. JBP Entertainment group does 90% of all the music for all the Disney parks around the world. This is where I currently work along with being a free-lance producer/composer. I feel very fortunate to be able to work in my profession of choice.
My parents still live in River Ridge and I do get to visit them often.
