Michael's Story

Military Joined the Air Force in 1993 due to like ZERO work available in Mass. Got through basic training just fine and joined Air Force Space Command and went to text school at Lowry AFB, CO. Got stationed at (what was Falcon AFB now Schriever AFB) in Colorado Springs to work with GPS as a ground-systems operator. In 1997 got statio...Expand for more
ned at Misawa AFB, Japan. In 1999 went to Cheyenne Mt. AFS in Colorado Springs, CO. Did my "prison sentence" ha-ha at Cavalier AFS, ND (brrrr) for distant-early-warning radar for 2 years, now I'm at Buckley AFB, Denver, CO and work on SBIRS satellites. Joined Raytheon this year and am a contractor for satellite systems at Falcon AFB.
