Michael's Story
After Graduating High School, I continued my education in the area, I married my High School sweetheart and had children. I continued to live in East Hampton, I'm still a Mopar Man, And Love to talk about them . I am always up for a road trip in search of the best BBQ joints and Old fashion Diners and Drive-ins that have survived. I am a huge ( BBQ-Hot Dog -Juicy Burger, And old fashion homemade Donut ) foodie. And I take the old country back roads that are less traveled in search of them, ,And I look for old cars that have been sitting for many years. I joined classmates because I enjoy reconnecting/sharing memorys with old friends and classmates from Captian John Smith, Moton, Jones, Spratley, Kecoughtan, Vo-Tech,and of course Phoebus High School . I like to know what they have been up to over all these years, and see if they still live around here. Swap stories and hear about their familys.. I...Expand for more
like to talk about the good old days, and how life was so different when our generation was growing up. And see if anyone knows the whereabouts of old friends I haven't seen since Jr High & High School. I like to talk about how Hampton has changed, and how so many of the buildings & places I use to like to go too, or hang out at in Hampton have been torn down., A few of mine were, Beany's in East Hampton ,The Rebel ,Uncle Sams, Jack in the Box in Fox Hill, Grants that was downtown Hampton,Leggetts downtown Hampton.Coliseum Mall, Shakey's Pizza that was on Armistead Ave, Dairy Queen on Pembroke Ave, Burger Chef, on Mercury Sammy & Nicks,.Vancostas in Wythe, High's Ice Cream in Buckroe. And The Buckroe Beach board walk.. My Motto is "Enjoy Life", Because life is short, So get out there and live it. Make those lasting memories, Don't procrastinate. And live each day like its your last, because tomorrow isn't promised.
