Sometimes the light's all shining on me
Other times I can barely see
Lately it's occurred to me
What a long, strange trip it's been
Eclectic, surprising path life had for me to this point:
16 years to finish my BA (a few breaks along the way LOL!) 2 more years for a Masters, 5 more to become ABD in a doctoral program where I finished before completing my PhD
