Michael's Story
Life
I am currently living in San Ramon with my wife Atina, my stepdaughter Kaitlyn (15) and my sons Nicholas (4) and Zackary (born September 29, 2008). I would love to hear from old friends I went to school with.
College
I entered Santa Clara University in the Fall of 1985 with the intention of majoring in electrical engineering. After struggling through two years of circuits, thermodynamics and all other engineering related classes I realized this was not the major for me and decided to pursue my first love---tv/radio. college hosting a sports talk show and doing play by play for the Santa Clara baseball team I switched to television after graduation settling in as a news and later a sports producer at KICU-TV in San Jose.
Workplace
I am currently a school teacher and baseball coach at Harker School in San Jose. This is a career change for me as I previously spent 15 years working as a news and sports producer at KION-TV in Monterey, KICU-TV in San Jose, and KPIX-TV in San Francisco. The majority of those years (10) were spent as the executive producer of High School Sports Focus, a high school sports show that ran for 16 years on KICU-TV. I enjoy my job very much.
