Michael's Story
School: I went to the University of Kansas immediately after graduating from high school in 1964. I graduated cum laude with honors in psychology in 1968. I spent 2 years in grad school in social psychology there until 1970. Beginning in 1970 I attended Starr King School for the Ministry (Unitarian-Universalist) and graduated with an M.Div. in 1973. In 1976 I began a program in psychology at Antioch University/Seattle and graduated with an M.A. in 1977. In 2008 I began a program in film production at Santa Fe Community College and completed a certificate.
Where I've lived: Back and forth between the Shawnee Mission area and Lawrence, KS until 1970. Berkeley and Oakland, CA until 1973. The Seattle area until 2001. Santa Fe, NM until present. I'm seriously considering moving to Hollywood, CA.

arian minister for a couple of years. Therapist and workshop presenter for about 28 years. Began working in the film industry as an actor in 2005 and then began making my own movies. That's the focus of my life now. I work as a screenwriter, director, producer, indie filmmaker, and actor. My film industry name is Michael John Gabriel. I'm preparing to make a feature movie called "Family Bands." It's about 3 generations of family bands, the conflict that tears them apart, and their attempts to overcome that conflict. I also work occasionally as a photographer.
Relationships: Many. I've been married twice, the first time to the woman I dated all through my senior year at SME. My last more than a few dates relationship ended in 2005. I've begun again looking for a woman to share a long-term relationship.
