Michael Driskill:  

I moved from Kalispell in August of 1993 to attend William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, which is a suburb of Kansas City. I graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Music Education --Instrumental and Vocal Certification. I taught for a year in a, shall we say, hole, called Richland, Missouri. I then spent 8 years in Princeton, Missouri, (It sounds much more impressive than what it is, I assure you) where the band went from 15 people to 42 (1/4 of the school), received I ratings, and won several marching band competitions. I now live in Cassville, Missouri, in the southwest corner of the state, where I am the middle school band director, and will be the high school director in the next year or two when he retires. It's very green here, and has several creeks and rivers. It's almost like Montana, but without the mountains. And 3 feet of snow. And skiing. And decent hunting. And..., well, you get the picture. In July of 2002 I married my wife, the former Amy Hunt. Our daughter, Hannah Grace, was born 10/23/04. We have a son due in late June of 2008, which we will more than likely name Noah Michael. Kind of mind blowing to think that I haven't been to Montana since December of 1995. I miss many things about it. I hope to take my family up there one summer. If yo...Expand for more
