Michael's Story
Life
My life has definitely evolved since high school. Let's see...I graduated from Boston University--courtesy of the Boston Scholar Program that awarded Dean Ray Carthy, John Richmond and myself academic scholarships--and I have been working in Financial Services since graduation.
I was married and unfortunately I am getting divorced. I have 3 awesome kids (all boys), and live south of Boston. In fact, my oldest son, Tyler, graduated in the top ten of his high school class and he is matriculating to UMass Lowell in the Fall. I will always be grateful for my experience a...Expand for more
t Hyde Park High School, despite the inferior education I and my classmates received. I do not mean to offend my former classmates, but we did NOT receive a top-notch education. I barely made "C's" my first semester in college. But, without the four-year scholarship I received to attend BU, I do not know what path I would have taken. So, all in all, I have no regrets. Better yet, my time spent at Hyde Park High School was probably the easiet four years of my life.
Workplace
I work for Columbia Management in Boston as a Marketing Manager in the Asset Management Industry.
