Michael's Story
Graduated High School, moved away for a year and a half then moved back. Started nursing school, then quit to be a ROCKSTAR! Was in the bands The Kopps of Panama City and Blitz of Atlanta. Moved away to Atlanta in the band, then got married, quit music and had two children, Chad and Kristen. Moved back and forth between Atlanta, West Palm Beach, FL and Birmingham, AL for 17 years. Got divorced and moved back to Panama City. Remarried in 1998 to a wonderful woman named Deana and have two girls, Kimberly and Jennifer. Became a Master Mason in Alabama and continued in masonry in Florida, joining the Scottish Rite as a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner. Had many jobs from being an Emergency Medical Technician , restaurant management, x-ray service tech and an engraver. I am currently employed by the Panama City Beach Police Department as a Corporal. ctionist, Field Training Officer, Emergency Vehicle Ops driving instructor and Auxiliary Recruit instructor. I was recently qualified as an expert witness in traffic crash reconstruction and am a supervisor attached to A Watch in the Patrol Division. I presently live in Callaway and absolutely look forward to seeing any old classmates, anytime.
If you look at my photos, you will notice a lot of pics of my brother Chris, 3 years younger than me. He passed away Nov. 27, 2007 from ccancer. I miss him and I know a lot of people who knew me, knew him. he was able to live out his dream twice before his passing. He attended the Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp in New York in Sept. 07 and again in Las Vegas in Oct. 07. He performed with his childhood heros, Paul Stanley of KISS, Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple, Roger Daltry of The Who, Jack Bruce of Cream, Nicko McBain of Iron Maiden, Vince Neil of Motley Crue, Slash of Guns n Roses, Mark Slaughter, Bruce Kulick of KISS and many others.
