Michael's Story
Attended Richmond Elem in S.E. Portland Class of '71
Went to Benson HS in N.E. Portland Class of '75
Went to college at Lawrence University in Appleton, WI
Lived in India during 1978 ... found my calling in life.
Decided to go into business as a path back into India
Met Carol Craft in '80 ... married in June '81
Attended Portland State Univ., School of Business in '82
Got interested in Accounting
Worked in a couple start-up companies
Was in Purchasing and Admin for a Wholesale co. 3 yrs
Was a Controller for a small mfgr company for 4 yrs
Worked long hours, but got a CPA to earn more $$
Got involved in Youth work at my church
Got a ministry credential like my dad before me in '85
Thought maybe I was to go into the ministry
but those "doors" all closed; the Actg doors opened
Passed the CPA exam (finally)

Finally got the CPA license in '88
Worked in Portland-area CPA firms for 7 years

Got a call from the Oregon Assemblies of God in '95
Michael Jr ("Beeb") born 6/95
Director of Finance for the state denomination
Travel around Oregon to assist churches & pastors
2001 Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to teach Administration
and returned to India for a one-week reunion
2002 Bangalore, India to teach Finance & Busin Adm
2003 took Carol & Kristen to Bombay & Bangalore
2005 setup teaching MBA class in India
2006 took Carol, Katie & Beeb to India, too
Turned 50 in Dec '06 ... feeling a need to reconnect with friends from the past.
