Michael's Story
Life
Retired in 1994 from computer/electronics industry. Got my pilot license in 1996. Started a flight school at Winnipeg International Airport in 1999.
Was having the time of my life which ended abruptly when I suffered a stroke in 2004 and had to close the school! The process was like having my heart ripped from my chest....Expand for more
I am in very slow recovery, adjusting to still being on the "right side of the grass" and learning to lead a much smaller existence!
UPDATE 3-Mar-10: After six long years of stroke recovery I have begun to feel well enough to wonder what I'll be when I grow up. Today Transport Canada reinstated my pilot medical!! Whoo Hoo!!
