Wow 10 years have gone by since graduation. Hard to think that time really does fly. I have been down a long road so far yet it seems as though it was just yesterday that I was in class at Conway High and dreaming of going to college to play football for the university of Nebraska. Well somethings of course didn't pan out as planned. I mean playing for the university of nebraska. However, coming here was probably one of the best things to happen to me considering the road I was about to go down just after I first moved up here. After I moved here in the summer of 98', I worked for my uncle's landscaping service and got my self in shape by riding about 20 miles minimum a day after putting in 14 hour days outside. I then signed up for classes to be a vocal performance music major at UNL. I was excited to branch out from the small town of conway and make my mark in the music world. That was all going great until the second week of classes I was hit by a car while I was riding my bike to campus. I was out of class for almost a week. The struggle to catch up on school work caused me to get burnt out quick. I was staying active in Christian Student Fellowship and helping lead the worship services while developing my skills on guitar and started a band with a couple of friends from CSF and Campus Crusade. We were called the revelation at first til we discovered that there were about 1000 different bands by that name. We changed it to Silence in Heaven.
