Michael (Gator)'s Story
Since graduating high school, I married young (at 19!) and had a little girl. The marriage didn't work out so my daughter and I moved closer to my parents who were in Louisiana.
In Louisiana I began my law enforcement career in 1993 with the Shreveport Police Department. While there I worked full time and went to college.
After receiving my degree in 1997, I moved on to the U.S B...Expand for more
order Patrol in Brownsville, Texas. Before leaving Shreveport, I met the love of my life and we married right before moving to Texas.
In 1998 our handsome baby boy was born and completed our family.
In 2001, I was fortunate enough to be hired by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), and was sent back to Shreveport, Louisiana. I have been stationed here since then.
