Michael's Story
Life
I went into the military (U.S. NAVY) right after graduation and I finally retired (after 20 LONG years) in September 2001. I started my career in Great Lakes, IL (boot camp), then onto Meridian, Mississippi (Admin School), next was my first duty station (USS Buchanan-San Diego, CA). Then I moved on to Alameda/Oakland, CA (USS Samuel Gompers). Next was Arlington, VA (Navy Annex). Then back to Alameda/Oakland (USS Samuel Gompers (again)), then San Francisco (Treasure Island). n Virginia to be exact) with my lovely wife of 10 years. I have a total of four kids (3 boys and 1 daughter) and pursuing a career in Law Enforcement. I just qualified to become a Federal Police Officer at the Pentagon. Unfortunately, I missed BOTH the 10 year and the 20 year class reunions due to being overseas. Also, we didn't have a 25th year reunion due to lack of interest on everyone's part! But I will be at the 30th class reunion.
