Michael's Story
Hey all,
After high school I went to Germany with my lovely girlfriend at the time and former NMHS exchange student Danica Kramer for 2 weeks before joining the navy. I joined to become a search and rescue swimmer but after becoming an aircrewmen graduate at Pensacola, FL, I moved on to become an aviation electrician. I was in the squadron VF/VFA-154 "Black Knights" and went around the world on cruise aboard the USS Carl Vincent in 2005. We went to Guam, Singapore, Dubai twice, Bah'rain, Gree...Expand for more
ce, Portugal and finally ended the trip at Virginia Beach, VA. After the navy I headed back home to Grapeview, WA and quickly moved out to Bremerton. I proposed to Danica and we got married on April 22nd, 2006 in the small church in Allyn. Eventually my step dad convinced me get a job at the shipyard as a marine mechanic and I am still working there currently. Danica and I bought a house in Port Orchard and got a little dog named Gizmo and for the most part are living our lives one day at a time.
