Michael's Story
So, while I grew up in Las Vegas, and attended Red Rock Elementary, Hyde Park Jr High, Garside Jr High, and then Western, I was in trouble a lot; I wound up at Spring Mtn, so many of you may not remember me from Western if you didn't already know me. I was in a couple of pretty good bands back then, we opened for the Doors at the Convention Center, played lots of school dances, opened for Three Dog Night at the Armory...anyways, I lived in California and Las Vegas as an adult; worked at the MGM when it burned...Expand for more
down, then Circus-Circus, then, the Holiday/Harrah's...then, I moved to Santa Cruz California...the earthquake was so much fun!!! Moved back to Vegas; went back to Harrah's...It was hard to come back into the casino biz after living in Santa Cruz; eventually, I moved back, and I am still here... There is so much more to my story, after all, it has been 40 years since I graduated...maybe one day we can have a cup of coffee, and you can tell me what you've been up to, and I can tell you the rest of the story..
