Michael Hogan:  

Life After graduating from MHS, I received my undergrad degree from the Univ. of Tulsa in Public Relations, worked on-air at a Tulsa classical radio station for 2 years, changed directions and earned a Masters in Counseling/Higher Ed (Univ. of Central Arkansas) and then did some post-Doc work at the Univ of Arkansas, before changing directions again. Soon thereafter, I married Susan in 1996 - she was my primary reason for the move to Dallas. At the time, Susan was working (and still works) at Southern Methodist University, and after working at an Episcopal Church for four years, I found a job at SMU, too, and have been there since. We spent our 5-year wedding anniversary in Germany in November 2001 (where the "current" picture of me in my profile on this site was taken), and we both had a fantastic time visiting people and places where Susan had spent time as an exchange student. In 2004 we became the very proud parents of a handsome little boy, Thomas! Shortly thereafter we moved to a new home in Richardson, TX, and only increased our commute to campus by 15 minutes or so.
