Michael's Story
Still a working stiff at Telos Corporation in Ashburn, VA. Presently working as a CQA, for the uninitiated, that's Certified Quality Auditor. I'm responsible for maintaining the company ISO Certification. I'm also a retired IBM Electro-Mechanical/Quality Engineer with 30 years of service working for the IBM Federal Systems Division. When IBM management decided they didn't want to support the military with hardware anymore, they sold the division to Loral Corporation who in turn sold it to Lockheed Martin. I'm also on my second marriage to a wonderful woman named Evangelina from Lima, Peru. Between us, we have four daughters and seven grandchildren. My wife and I have a home in Manassas, VA in a nice quiet cul-de-sac. This will be our place until the end. Both of my parents have passed away and are buried here in Manassas where we can keep an eye on them. Three of our daughters live close by and one is a Master Sargent in the Air Force living in Mississippi. All in all, if the stock market ever gets back to where it was in 2007 I'm going to retire for good.
