Michael's Story
Life
We live in South Florida, and have 3 grown children. Our son, Michael, is married, and lives in N. Carolina. Our twin daughters, Kelly and Kristin, live in Orlando. Both are married. Kristin has a new baby girl. I (Mike) recently retired after 38 years at Sears. I was manager of a large Sears store in Miami. I play the alto saxophone in a Big Band group,the Red Rockets, which I enjoy very much. I also play in the Praise Band and Orchestra at the Church by the Glades. I have recently joined the Broward Symphony.
In our spare time, we enjoy going to the Keys, or over to Sanibel Island. We also make lots of trips to Orlando to see the kids and Linda's dad, wh...Expand for more
o is 90 years old.
I have a Miata,which is perfect for this climate, and Linda and I are members of the South Florida Miata Club. We enjoy going to all the events.
Linda is retired, and enjoys being at home with her 2 dogs. She has an online business where she sells things she crochets. Her website is called "Head Hugs by Linda."
She has had 12 hip replacement surgeries during the past 34 years, and is now confined to a wheelchair, but that hasn't slowed her down.
Workplace
I am retired now. Previously I was the general store manager for Sears in Coral Gables, Florida. Before that I managed the Sears stores in Hialeah, West Palm Beach, and Ft. Lauderdale.
