Michael's Story
Life
I moved to Beaufort, SC my senior year and graduated from Beaufort High School. After high school I enlisted in the Marine Corps...yes the Marine Corps. Those of you from Amherst most likely would have never thought that I'd join the Marines...anyways. I went to boot camp right before 9/11 so that was a suprise and then next thing I know it I get deployed. I was in Kuwait for awhile and then went up to An Nasariya and then I went to Babylon...Just south of Bagdad. the middle of a desert. So Ive been back since Sept 18th (2003)or so and then stationed back at Camp LeJeune NC. Dont be afraid to email me, if you remember me I remember you so drop a line.
Update! I am now currently stationed in Woodbridge, VA were I am a network/software engineer for the Marine Corps new amphibious landing vehicle. Most of my job is classified so I cant really go into detail about my job. But its great..I travel to San Diego everyonce in awhile. I had the amazing oppurtunity to participate in Pres. Ronald Regan's funeral procession as well as Pres. Geogre Bush's inaguration ceremony, something to tell the grandkids.
